Needing an Overdrive, I built this tube preamp pedal around a 12AX7 tube.
This kit includes pre-drilled die-cast aluminum enclosure and all parts with easy to follow instructions. All you need is solder and soldering iron. I'm a complete novice to electronics. It took me three and a halve hours. I had real fun building this. This pedal operates best on an AC adapter. It goes from clean, warm tone to smooth, real tube overdrive. It's extremely easy to operate, and has a solid tone.
