We've spent "ages" looking for the most natural and transparent vocal microphone available. It needed to be outstanding, both on stage as in the studio. It also needed to withstand the rigors of the road, take the abuse by the ignorant and still keep doing what it's supposed to:
Be the best vocal microphone.

This is one of these personal equipment pieces you could fall in love with. It passes on what you sing without altering or colouring the sound. It's extremely reliable and can be used under all circumstances.

So, the LSR-2000 is a handheld cardioid condenser mic.
But it has extra's. It is almost completely insensitive to handling noise, it has a -10 dB pad switch (this will make the mic accept soundlevels up to 143 dB!) and has a 80 Hz high pass filter switch (this reduces low frequency interference, but more importantly it reduces the proximity effect!).

But all of this wouldn't mean zip if it didn't sound so great. In fact it doesn't "sound" at all. It does nothing to your sound. That's is the best charateristic of the LSR-2000.
